Everything here is the same. Why did we both have to change?
When someone isn’t who you thought they were, and you end up being stronger than you thought you ever could be. That’s when you realize you can move on.
All of a sudden the future is uncertain, but it’s a beautiful thing.
I’ll be moving to Toronto with two of my best friends this spring. That’s all I know. That’s all I probably need to know.
I’m re-energized and ready to focus on the present. But most of all, I’m open to the new.

Zee Avi is a mighty Sarawakian warrior. The highlight of this summer was seeing her perform this at the Rainforest World Music Fest, in her traditional tribal gear, beating the shit out of a drum.
